GrassRun Band is Blue Grass made up of regular working-class people-educators, truck-drivers, teachers, and factory-workers. When they’re on-stage you’ll see about a dozen traditional acoustic instruments. Look for a couple of acoustic guitars, a resophonic guitar or “dobro”, a fiddle, a banjo, a doghouse bass, 3 beautifully different mandolins, an autoharp, and a mountain dulcimer! A favorite among band-members and listeners is when Cindy, Dave, and Gary, all get out their Eastman mandolins and pass around an old fiddle tune, each showcasing their individual styles of picking.
