Robert Coates, with Brad Eisendorf on pedal steel, goes back to his country roots with their acoustic sound. As kid in South Dakota, it was not uncommon for  the whole family to load into the big ol Buick, usually on a school night, and head off to Sioux Falls to hear one of the traveling Grand Ol Opry shows that came to town.  That’s where Robert saw country greats such as Johnny Cash, Hank Snow, Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and many, many more. It made a big impression and influenced everything Robert’s done musically. Robert and Brad play  a wide variety of rock, country, pop, folk, and blues.
